Because the drive itself only takes a few hours, most Orlando to Miami moves deliver same day or next day depending on your shipment size and the date you pick. Pricing tends to run lower here than on our longer interstate routes, simply because there is less distance and time involved.

Miami adds its own wrinkle: condo buildings often require a reserved elevator or loading dock time, HOAs may restrict move in hours, and street parking in places like Brickell or South Beach can be tight for a full size truck. We start with a quote call covering your shipment and any access details for both buildings. From there we plan the drive down the Turnpike or I-4 to I-95, timed to avoid the worst of Miami traffic. Your items get loaded, wrapped, and secured for the trip, then delivered, placed, and reassembled once we arrive.

Moving to Miami or Moving Back to Orlando

Coral Gables, Kendall, and Doral tend to draw families who want more room, while Brickell and Wynwood pull in people who want to be close to downtown and nightlife. The Miami-Dade County government site covers permitting and utility setup if you are new to the area. Cost of living and insurance both run higher in Miami than in Orlando, and hurricane season, June through November, is worth planning around the closer you get to the coast.
