Building Requirements That Affect Your Move-In Day
If you’re moving into a New York City co-op or a larger apartment building, management will often require a certificate of insurance (COI) before allowing a moving truck to use the freight elevator or loading dock. It’s a document, not a formality you can skip, and buildings that require it generally won’t budge on move-in day if it’s missing. We prepare this ahead of time as a standard part of planning your move. Street parking is the other factor: depending on your block, you may need a permit or temporary signage to hold curb space, and we help you sort that out before the truck leaves Orlando.
