Right Equipment for the Job
A piano moved without proper equipment is a piano at risk of damage. We don’t improvise on piano moves.
All professionally-trained crews come equipped with a fully equipped 26-foot moving truck suited for any job. Plus all these.
Piano moves require specific equipment and a crew that understands how to use it.
Proper Piano Moving Equipment – We arrive with the right tools so the move is handled safely from the first lift to final placement.
Full Protection for the Instrument – The piano is padded and wrapped before it leaves your home. Corners, legs, and the body are all covered to prevent scratches, dents, or moisture damage during transit.
Experienced Handling on Stairs and Tight Spaces – Moving a piano through a doorway, down a staircase, or around a tight corner takes coordination and experience. Our crews handle the positioning, tilting, and navigation required to move the instrument without damage to it or your home.
Delivery and Placement – The piano is placed in the room and position you specify at the new location. If the new space requires navigating stairs or a narrow hallway, we plan for that before moving day.

Pianos are valuable instruments. Moving with a licensed, bonded, and insured company means you have real coverage if something unexpected happens. We carry the right protection for every job.
MechaMovers is a real Orlando business that has operated in this community since 2018. When something this valuable is involved, you want a company with a real reputation on the line.
Free Quote: Call (321) 400-9112 or submit a quote request. Let us know the type of piano (upright, grand, baby grand), the floor it’s on, and any access considerations at the origin and destination. Piano quotes are specific to the instrument and the job.
Crew Prepares the Instrument: On move day, the crew pads and wraps the piano before it’s moved an inch. Legs on grand pianos are removed for transport and reattached at the destination.
Safe Loading and Transit: The piano is secured in the truck to prevent movement during transport. Weight distribution and securing technique matter more with a piano than with most other items.
Delivery and Setup: At the new location, the piano is brought in, placed where you want it, and left ready to use. Any components removed for transport are reattached.
Here is what recent MechaMovers customers have shared about their experience.
Yes. Upright pianos and grand pianos have different handling requirements, and we approach each type accordingly. When you call for a quote, let us know the type and approximate size of your instrument so we can prepare the right equipment and crew.
Any move, even a short one, can shift a piano’s tuning due to vibration, changes in humidity, and temperature variation during transport. We recommend scheduling a tuning with your piano technician after the move and giving the instrument a few weeks to settle in its new environment before the appointment.
MechaMovers is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. If damage occurs during your move, you’re not left without recourse. Talk to us about coverage details when you book.
Piano moving is quoted based on the type of piano, the floor level, access conditions at both locations, and the distance of the move. There’s no flat rate that applies to every job, but there are no hidden fees either. Call (321) 400-9112 for an accurate quote specific to your move.
