How Piano Moving Works
Free Quote: Call (321) 400-9112 or submit a quote request. Let us know the type of piano (upright, grand, baby grand), the floor it’s on, and any access considerations at the origin and destination. Piano quotes are specific to the instrument and the job.
Crew Prepares the Instrument: On move day, the crew pads and wraps the piano before it’s moved an inch. Legs on grand pianos are removed for transport and reattached at the destination.
Safe Loading and Transit: The piano is secured in the truck to prevent movement during transport. Weight distribution and securing technique matter more with a piano than with most other items.
Delivery and Setup: At the new location, the piano is brought in, placed where you want it, and left ready to use. Any components removed for transport are reattached.
