What Our Loading and Unloading Help Covers

Truck and container loading. We load your rented truck, container, or trailer so the space is used well and your belongings stay protected on the road.

Hand unloading at the other end. Whether you are arriving at a new home or a storage facility, our movers unload each item and put it where you want it.

Pads and wrap included. Our movers bring furniture pads and wrap even though the truck is yours, so your furniture is protected while it is loaded.

Disassembly for tight fits. If a large piece has to come apart to fit in the truck or through a door, we take it apart and rebuild it at the destination.

Loading only, unloading only, or both. Book the part of the move you need. Some customers need help at one end only, and that works for us.

If you need more than one service, we also offer local movers in Orlando and packing and unpacking services. Local customers can also see our page for Casselberry movers. For planning tips, see our guide to labor-only vs. full-service movers.

Reasons to Hire Labor-Only Movers in Orlando

Trained Movers

Our movers know how to lift, carry, and stack a truck safely, which protects your belongings and the people doing the work.

Separate Labor Pricing

Labor-only jobs are priced apart from full-service moves because we are not supplying a truck. The care your belongings get stays the same.

Fewer Injuries

Heavy furniture lifted the wrong way is a common cause of moving injuries. Letting our movers carry it keeps you and your family off the heavy end.

How Labor-Only Moving Works

Free Quote: Call (321) 400-9112 or request a quote online. Let us know whether you need loading, unloading, or both, along with the size of the truck or container you’re working with. We’ll give you a clear, straightforward estimate.

You Arrange the Truck: Reserve your rental truck, container, or trailer before move day. If you have questions about truck sizing for your load, we’re happy to advise based on your home or unit size.

Crew Arrives Ready to Work: On move day, the crew shows up on time with the equipment needed to protect and load your belongings. There’s no rummaging for missing gear. They arrive prepared.

Everything Loaded or Unloaded as Directed: Items are handled carefully and placed where you need them. Fragile pieces, heavy furniture, and oddly shaped items get the same attention they would on any full-service job.

Getting Your Truck Ready for Our Movers

Loading goes faster when the truck and your home are ready before our movers arrive.

Have the vehicle in place. Pick up your rental truck or have your container delivered before your appointment, and park it as close to the door as the property allows.

Pack and seal every box. Labor-only movers load what is ready to go. Tape boxes shut ahead of time and stack them by room near the exit.

Set aside what rides with you. Keep documents, medicine, chargers, and valuables in your car so they do not end up behind a wall of boxes.

What Our Customers Say

Here is what recent MechaMovers customers have shared about their experience.

Kyle K.

We had a great experience with Mecha Movers from start to finish! Joe was fantastic to work with when he came out to give us an estimate, and I really appreciated that he was there with the crew on moving day as well. The entire team was respectful, hardworking, and worked incredibly well together. They were also great about working with us throughout the move, making sure everything ended up exactly where we wanted it. Even when we changed our minds about where something should go, nobody complained or made it feel like an inconvenience. What impressed me most was how they handled some of our more unusual and difficult items. We had several extremely heavy, delicate glass display cases that needed to be carefully disassembled, moved, and reassembled. The original delivery crew had struggled with these, but the Mecha team made it look easy! They clearly knew what they were doing. Another nice touch was their trucks having hydraulic liftgates, which made moving some of the larger, heavier pieces much easier and safer. It’s rare to have a crew this size where every single person is pleasant to work with. They worked great as a team, listened to us, and genuinely made what could have been a stressful moving day a much better experience. Really appreciate Joe and the entire crew. Would absolutely recommend Mecha Movers!

If I could give these guys more than five stars I would! From booking to payment the process was easy. Joe called me after requesting an estimate and took care of setting up my booking, very transparent with pricing. I received confirmation messages the day before the move and got updates about the crew’s ETA on the day of the move. The guys got there on time and were ready to go. My crew was Iylijah, Kervin and Brandon and their teamwork had us completely emptying out my third floor 1bd apartment in an hour! They protected my furniture throughout the whole process and were careful with everything. When we got to the new apartment they also took great care unloading everything and making sure I was satisfied with where everything was being placed. Paying was also very easy, I was provided several options and the charges were explained again. Honestly I hope I don’t have to move again for a long time, but when I do I am definitely making sure to use MechaMovers again! Thanks for everything, guys!

Used MechaMovers for a local Orlando move, and could NOT be happier! The guys were friendly, on-time, careful, and strong. They wrapped and packed up my 3 bedroom house quickly, and unloaded it at my new place even faster than that. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, but the crew got it ironed out quickly and figured out solutions as quickly as they needed them. Would always use for my future moves, and will always recommend the service. Thank you again!

Labor-Only and Unloading Questions

How is labor-only moving different from full-service moving?

With labor-only moving, you provide and drive the truck or container. We supply the movers and the equipment to load or unload it.

Can I book loading only or unloading only?

Yes. You can book loading, unloading, or both. Tell us which you need when you request a quote.

Do your movers bring their own equipment?

Yes. Our movers bring furniture pads, wrap, hand trucks, and dollies. The truck is the only thing you arrange.

What size rental truck do I need?

As a general guide, a studio or one-bedroom usually fits in a 10- to 15-foot truck, and a two- or three-bedroom home usually needs a 20- to 26-foot truck. Larger homes may need more than one load, and we can recommend a size when you request a quote.
